Love bids us welcome

Children Welcome!

Children are a vibrant and vital part of our life as a church, and seem to feel at home as part of the congregation in our wonderful church building.

Here’s what we offer them (and their parents!) every Sunday outside the holidays:

1st SundayAll-age Worship
children and grown-ups together in church

2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays:
Godly Play
storytelling and wondering and making, in the Hall. For 4-12s.

3rd Sunday:
Singing with Miranda real singing, real fun! For 4-12s.

When they have their own Sunday activities, the children start with everyone else in the church, and return in time to join in Communion.

Children and Communion

Children of any age are very welcome to receive the bread and the wine, if their accompanying adult is happy with that. Or they may just have the bread. Or a blessing.

For younger children

We will soon have a safe space for younger children and their accompanying adults to make their own during the service if they wish, with toys and changing facilities.

And for older children

We have a Youth Group for children aged 12-18 that meets on Sunday during the 11.00 Service on 2nd and 3rd Sundays.

Keeping everyone safe

We all share the responsibility to look after the children in church.

Everyone who works with children here has been vetted with the Swedish authorities.

Anyone with an offence against a child or minor is absolutely prohibited from working with children or vulnerable adults.
